Jaz’Farrah is a Titanborn shamaness from Saturn who led the Maskin faction in a controversial campaign to end the Jas-Sharaza policy of strict isolation and open the borders of Saturn to the outside world. Her methods — including trafficking sacred Regalo Fruit, assassinating political figures, and accidentally triggering a catastrophic time loop — earned her the title of “Mad Shamaness.”
Background
Jaz’Farrah was prosecuted at a young age for her gifts and was seemingly “destined for madness” by those around her. This persecution shaped her into a deeply traumatized but brilliant individual who believes her radical methods are the only correct path. Over time, her methods grew increasingly devious, culminating in the Jaz’Farrah the Soul Shepherds encountered.
She saved Silas’s sister, Talleah Preshons, from Count von Preshons’ clutches and became a surrogate mother figure to her. Talleah describes Jaz’Farrah as offering her “unconditional love” and an understanding of what it means to feel trapped.
The Time Loop
Jaz’Farrah accidentally triggered a Rubix Cube time loop on Saturn that repeated 14 times before the Soul Shepherds finally broke the cycle. Her intent was to use the Loop to shut down the Elephant Spire — a giant black spear embedded in Janus’s back that she believed was causing the Titan’s suffering. She also wished to remove the Spire to free the Children of Jas from their centuries of forced isolation.

- Mastery of temporal energies, rendering her immune to Chronomancy spells due to constant exposure.
- Can reverse time locally (demonstrated when she rewound Silas snatching the Tome of Time).

Trial & Escape
Captured by the Soul Shepherds and brought before the Jas-Sharaza Council at Elefanti Palace, Jaz’Farrah was sentenced to execution. Before the sentence could be carried out, Silas and Carter enacted a secret plan: Silas unleashed magical darkness and used a scroll of Power Word: Peel to tear a spatial rift, allowing Jaz’Farrah and Carter to escape. Finley knocked Jaz’Farrah into the rift during the chaos; she and Carter subsequently vanished into the sky together.
Current Status
At large. Last seen escaping Janus City with Carter after the trial. Her whereabouts are unknown. Talleah, who stood by her side through the trial, was arrested alongside Silas in the aftermath and transported back to Astraloftum. She and Carter are looking for the missing pages of the Tome of Time.

- Talleah Preshons – Ward and surrogate daughter. Talleah’s loyalty was tested but never quite broken.
- Jer’Emee – Former ally turned critic. Jer’Emee ultimately denounced her plan as ignorant of Saturn’s deeper history.
- Carter Moonwing – Reluctant collaborator turned escape partner. Carter collected her time-shifted blood and views her as “still useful.”
- Silas Clemens – Adversary and estranged brother of her ward. Despite their conflict, Silas’s actions saved her from execution.
