Titanborn — Children of Jas, College of Valor Bard, Wandering Minstrel
Milo is 24, an adult Titanborn birdfolk that hails from the Titan Janus. A graduate of the prestigious College of Damocles, Milo’s passion for astronomy is his map. He navigates by the celestial ley-lines of the Skysea and composes the rise and fall of kingdoms, the romance of forgotten lords, and the gritty folk tales of the common folk.
Signature Shanty — “Bigby’s Whiskey”
There is method to his madness; he puts on a facade of eccentricity to disarm people. Despite this, he is a gregarious individual who enjoys socializing with everyone. A brave and selfless Titanborn full of compassion, Milo returns to Saturn frequently. His family believes he is just a wandering singer — they have no idea he is a “Wandering Hero” who has faced various horrors of the Skysea.
Milo carries a Lute of Illusions that he uses to add illusory flair to his songs.
Joining the Soul Shepherds. Milo was discovered by the Soul Shepherds aboard the enemy vessel of Stone Giant Corsair Gunhild Stormson, where he had been held captive and forced to play battle music for the giants. He was imprisoned alongside Joy and helped her attempt to escape during the Soul Shepherds’ ambush over the Theus Skyfjords. He used Polymorph to transform Gunhild into a turtle during the final stages of the battle, turning the tide of the fight. He formally introduced himself to the Scions afterward and has joined the Soul Shepherds in liberating Jupiter from Cloudbeard.
Notable Moments.
- His Polymorph spell on Gunhild Stormson ended the battle at the Theus Skyfjords.
- Escaped from a locked cage below Gunhild’s ship — his cage was destroyed by one of Silas’s Lightning Bolts — and fought alongside Joy during the chaos.
- Sang a booming shanty during the desperate passage through the Gales of Ikaros, staving off the magical lethargy of a freezing slumber as the A.R.K. pushed through Cloudbeard’s storm.
- Made his formal introductions to the party during the recovery period after the Theus Skyfjords battle, while Joy was healing in the A.R.K.’s clinic.
- Talked with Joy about the resistance during the moss-covered scaffolding climb up to the Inverted Temple, sharing stories of what he has witnessed so far.
- At the Inverted Temple base camp, performed a massive Unity Healing spell alongside Silas, spreading magical healing to all of the wounded Bhan-Ember resistance fighters — saving many lives and gaining significant favor with the resistance.
- Was disturbed by Silas absorbing the Souls of the Dwarven Kings in the Deep Hall of the Regents, though he pushed past his discomfort and did not intervene.
Personality & Role. Milo brings a natural warmth and camaraderie to the group — a troubadour’s instinct to witness and document the weight of what is happening around him. He shares a natural rapport with Joy, and acts as a living witness to the resistance’s struggle on Jupiter, documenting it in the tradition of a troubadour. He is still new to the group’s internal dynamics and is finding his footing.
Family & Saturn. His family on Saturn has no idea of the dangers he regularly faces. They believe he is a wandering singer. He is a Child of Jas — a Titanborn of Janus — and his homeland’s culture and ley-line navigation inform the way he moves through the world.
Personal Quests.
Chronicling Jupiter — Milo documents the struggle of the Bhan-Ember and the Scribes as history being made. He intends this to become part of the folk record — songs and verse that will outlast the revolution.
