Birdfolk. The Titanborn on Saturn call themselves the Children of Jas because they believe they were shaped by Janus. Every laugh, every scream, every secret passed from mother to child—all of it is remembered by Janus and can be recalled when the Titanborn wishes by eating Regalo fruit in a Memory Ceremony.
They live simple lives, not because they must, but because they want to. Homes carved into ridges of flesh, rock, and wood. Hunters, fishers, and farmers, supplemented by Janus itself during the Eruption Rain, are self-sufficient on the Titan. The Jas-Sharazas lead the Children of Jas—shamans who hear Janus’s thoughts and can travel through memories, or at least fragments of them. They are healers, storytellers, and guides.
Milodious Aureon and Carter Moonwing are very different Birdfolk, but they are both considered Children of Jas.
