Elefanti Palace

The seat of government for the Jas-Sharaza Council of Janus City on the Titan Saturn. The Palace is where the Council convenes, communes with Janus through the Eruption Pool, and passes judgment on matters of law and faith.

Architecture

The Jas-Sharaza deliberately allow the forces of nature to consume the Palace’s structure — vines overtake the walls, moss fills the joins, and roots push through the floors — as a living embodiment of Janus’s passage of time. A stone staircase shaped like an elephant’s trunk lowers like a drawbridge to admit visitors.

Key Features

  • The Eruption Pool — A sacred pool connected to Janus’s inner essence. Reina Akaska oversees it. Silas secretly dove into the pool (with Talleah’s help) and communed with Janus directly, learning that the Elephant Spire is still an active beacon — pointing toward Paradise (or what Fomors call “Nirvana”).
  • The Courtroom — Where the Trial of Jaz’Farrah was held. The site of Carter and Silas’s dramatic escape plan and the shattering of the Soul Shepherds fellowship.

The Trial of Jaz’Farrah

The five Jas-Sharaza Elders who presided over the trial were eccentric, silent robed figures who moved quickly toward execution. Diallos and Bartholomew’s combined advocacy delayed the verdict, but the Council ultimately sentenced both Jaz’Farrah and Talleah to execution — before the chaos of the escape plan intervened.

After the Trial

Despite the disruption, the Jas-Sharaza Council honored their debt to the Soul Shepherds for ending the Time Loop and freeing Janus from the Elephant Spire’s loop-beacon. They funded the full repair of the Project A.R.K. (35,000 gp).
