Count von Preshons

Nirvana’s Drakebane — Fallen Lord of Yahar’gul — Father of Silas and Talleah

Count von Preshons was a powerful Fomorian General in service of the Cult of Nirvana and the Cult of Nirvana. He was the vampiric father of Silas Clemens and Talleah Preshons, the former lord of the fallen stronghold Yahar’gul, and one of the primary architects of the plot to crown the Unborn Fomorian King.

Appearance & Personality

The Count was a calculating, aristocratic figure — circular spectacles, impeccable composure, and a cold intelligence that set him apart from brute Fomorian generals. He rarely acted in anger, preferring to let his enemies underestimate him until the moment he chose to reveal his true power. He was capable of transforming into a flaming dragon form and wielded the demonic blade Sanguinus, which drained the vitality of anyone it struck.

Despite his cruelty, he showed a flicker of genuine emotion when he believed he had incinerated Silas during their battle — a vulnerability that Virtus exploited. He also showed something resembling dark pride when Silas revealed the truth about the Countess’s death.

His Plan for Silas

Count von Preshons subjected Silas to years of torture and experimentation from childhood, etching the Twilight Brand onto him and engineering him to become a living Phylactery — the vessel he intended to crown as the Unborn Fomorian King. When Silas proved unwilling to embrace his Fomorian destiny, the Count called him “a failure.”

The Revelation

During the Battle at the Well of Souls, Silas revealed that the Countess was not killed by the Ecclesia Solari during the Fall of Yahar’gul — it was Silas who stabbed her. The Count, after an initial refusal to believe, accepted the truth with chaotic laughter and vowed to kill and revive Silas in an eternal loop.

Death?

Defeated by the Soul Shepherds at the Well of Souls inside the Great Natu Tree during the Fomorian Invasion of Astraloftum. Diallos delivered the killing blow in mid-air after a prolonged, brutal battle. As he fell, the Count looked at Diallos and hinted that he might be the true candidate for Unborn Fomorian King.

The thousands of hands of the Well of Souls pulled him into the abyss as he fell.

His return to the Mirror Realm marked the start of his revival. He will return.

His Three Damned Spears

The Count wielded three “Spears of the Damned” — powerful weapons he could hurl in combat. Carter reflected one back at him with the Tome of Time. Another was turned against him by Diallos during the final moments of the battle.
