Satyr, Warlock / Druid, Order of Natu

Background. A young Satyr adopted by the Whispering Grove in Astraloftum and raised by druids under the protective canopy of the Great Natu Tree. Finley’s gentle nature and love for the natural world inspired him to pursue a life of dedication to the Goddess of Nature, Natu, and Her Works. Finley has grown to be a well-respected Druid and Cleric in the Grove and is considered by the majority of his friends a natural successor to his adoptive mother, Archdruid Elowen.

Finley’s childhood memories carried occasional lapses hinting at an elusive heritage — he is now confirmed to be the heir of the Court of Ash in the fabled Gardens of Arcadia. His father is the Duke of Ash, a proud Satyr lord. His mother was killed by the Monarchon, tyrant of the Gardens of Arcadia. Finley is of two courts: the Ashen Court and the Spring Court.

Key Moments & Growth.

  • Cleared the corruption from the Great Natu Tree and fought beside the Soul Shepherds to defend Astraloftum from the Fomorian Invasion.
  • Was killed and disintegrated by the Arcadian Phoenix of Ashen Lineage (Amenó) on Saturn, only to be spiritually reborn in the Urn of Phoenix Ash. His father, the Duke of Ash, met him in the void and gave him his Blade of Ash along with the knowledge of his true heritage.
  • Upon his rebirth, the Phoenix fused its essence into his Ashen Crown, becoming a power he can unleash at will. The Phoenix named him the “Arcadian Prince of Ash.”
  • Accompanied the Soul Shepherds through the Saturn arc, the Janus City Meal Festival, and the Astraloftum reformation — including Bartholomew’s Mirror Realm trial, where Finley’s conviction was to eliminate Dark Arse entirely (overruled by Bart’s mercy).
  • Quietly released a Ychen Bannog (great Oxen) from ritual slaughter at the Meal Festival, earning Natu’s divine favor. He then sat with the elderly creature as it died peacefully in the grasslands.
  • Witnessed the Archdruid Elowen’s sacrifice in the Fomorian Invasion; her soul now resides within his Staff of the Seasons, a sacred burden he carries in her honor.
  • Bestowed the title of Archdruid upon Bramble the Minotaur rather than accepting the role himself, choosing to continue the mission.
  • Revived Diallos with Revivify after Diallos was killed by Magus Xor’Ocu.

Arcadian Phoenix (Amenó). After the events of the Elephant Spire, the Phoenix fused its essence into Finley’s Ashen Crown. It acknowledged him as the Prince of Ash and declared the Soul Shepherds to be “Mother’s Warriors.”

Return to Astraloftum as Archdruid. After bidding the Soul Shepherds farewell in Session 67, Finley resumed his duties as Archdruid of the Whispering Grove. He plans to keep tabs on Vincent of Damocles and continue studying the Gardens of Arcadia. The Scions vowed to see each other again.

Personal Quests.

Courts of Arcadia Succession. Finley carries the soul of the missing Spring Princess in his seed. He was directed by Elder Luminaria to visit the Titan Venus for more information on the Gardens of Arcadia. He is the offspring of an illegitimate union between the Court of Ash and the Court of Spring.

The Monarchon — killed Finley’s mother. Must be confronted.
