Enigmatic Arms Dealer — Former Friend of Sir Amiel Tenebris

Vincent of Damocles is a mysterious and morally ambiguous figure with deep ties to both the Tenebris Estate, Tekkhead Labs, and the Ecclesia Solari. He was a close friend of the late (or missing) Amiel Tenebris, and is now in a romantic relationship with Lord Commander Zariel Tenebris, the mother of Virtus and Animus.

Known Information

• He orchestrated the sale of the Tenebris Estate through Zariel, repurposing it into a Solari Crusader training academy.
• He auctioned off Sir Amiel’s Holy Mahogany Chest at the Scheppihn Auction House on Saturn — an act that deeply offended Virtus, who eventually recovered the chest from the pirates who bought it.
• He owns Project A.R.K., the prototype airship he lent to the Soul Shepherds in exchange for Virtus accepting his relationship with Zariel. A contract requires a skeleton crew to serve as his informants.
• He had P-Sowen fitted with a hidden Sol-Phone device to monitor the Scions’ communications, discovered by Carter.
• He has a private study protected by an Alarm spell and a Fireball Trap. Inside the Scions found: a ledger of illegal heirloom sales, and a Death Note listing people marked “H” (Harvested?) or “P” (Pending?). All Soul Shepherds are marked “P.” Zariel, Pinot, and Father Ghaspen are marked “H.”
• He possesses a Living Mirror Realm version of the Tenebris Estate, accessible through an Eluvian Mirror in his study.
• He once quoted a Bardic passage to Silas: “And thusly I clothe my naked villainy in old odd ends stolen forth from holy writ and seem a saint when most I play the devil…”
• He told Silas that a clue to Paradise is hidden inside the airship, and to not neglect his sister.

Personality

Vincent is calculating, charming, and deeply secretive. He presents himself as helpful and reasonable while clearly pursuing a hidden agenda. He has shown awareness of Paradise and the Scions’ quest — whether out of genuine investment or manipulation is unclear.

Relationship with Zariel

Zariel allowed Vincent to transform the Tenebris Estate, claiming he handled the “gross logistics” she couldn’t manage alone. Zariel has since aligned with the Soul Shepherds against him after Virtus revealed the truth of the chest auction, and has formulated a plan to excise Vincent from the Tenebris legacy.

Current Status

A target of Lord Commander Zariel’s wrath. Finley is monitoring his activities in Astraloftum. His full intentions remain unknown.
