Davi Greymane

A former Solar Scion and early ally of the Soul Shepherds. Davi was originally a member of the group as a Solari Inquisitor, but abandoned his oath and went Apostate after falling in love with a Harpy — a Fomorian — and chose love over the Church’s teachings.

Departure

During the Soul Shepherds’ return from Spider Island, Davi disappeared without warning. When Virtus encountered him later in the Hall of Scions trial, he confronted her — declaring his forbidden love for his Harpy wife as his reason for apostasy. His farewell: “I’m sorry Virtus, but the next time we cross paths, you will die.” To which Virtus grinned: “You have no idea how badly I’ve wanted to fight you. See you then.”

The Fomorian Invasion

Davi reappeared during the Fomorian Invasion of Astraloftum, guarding the backline for the Servants of Nirvana alongside his Harpy wife. Whimsical appealed to his morality, but his loyalty was clouded. Finley, in Liondrake form, slashed at the Harpy — sending Davi plunging into the river.

Later in the battle, Davi provided a surprising assist to Whimsical by helping stage a deception against Magus Xor’Ocu — suggesting his loyalties are never fully fixed.

Imprisonment

Following the Invasion, Davi was apprehended after attempting to escape with the Beholder’s Soul. He is currently imprisoned in the Dungeons of Astraloftum, beneath the Tower of Inquisition. Lord Commander Zariel is personally overseeing his interrogation.

Virtus’s Relationship with Davi

Virtus confessed to the Church that Davi had disappeared on the floating island and admitted to her own relief over his absence due to his blasphemous activities. She simultaneously looked forward to their promised fight. His imprisonment now complicates that anticipated confrontation.

The Harpy Wife

The fate of Davi’s Harpy wife after Finley’s attack and Davi’s capture is unknown.
