Vyvanix is the Shadow Dragon who rules the Mirror Realm, the dark reflection of the Elder Light Dragon Luminaria. Where Luminaria embodies radiance, life, and the divine, Vyvanix is her antithesis: a creature of shadow, death, and consuming darkness.

Known Information

• Vyvanix contacted Virtus Tenebris via her Lunar Phone following the Soul Shepherds’ battle in the Atrium Profanus, vowing vengeance against Virtus personally.
• She crashed through the skylight of the Atrium Profanus in the Mirror Realm during Bartholomew’s ascension trial, obliterating the Eluvian mirror portal that served as the party’s exit — trapping them in the Mirror Realm.
• The Soul Shepherds escaped her Breath Attack only because Bartholomew shattered the Fomorian Ichor obtained from Magus Xor’Ocu, using its reflective magic to teleport the party back to Tamasora.

Threat Level

Vyvanix is an existential threat. Her destruction of the Eluvian mirror demonstrated both her immense power and her willingness to cut off any means of escape for her prey. She has personally targeted Virtus, suggesting a vendetta that may be tied to Virtus’s role as a champion of Tekk — the antithesis of shadows.

Connection to the Mirror Realm

• Count von Preshons sought out the Ebon Star in the Atrium Profanus specifically to free the petrified Fomorian Devil Generals (Iblis, Niggurath, and Cun’Ingus) for use in his war against the Ecclesia Solari. It is unclear whether Vyvanix was aware of or endorsed this plan.
• The Mirror Realm itself may have been created by the Trinity not purely as a reflection of the world, but as a prison — for demons, or perhaps for something even older and more powerful.
