Bhan-Ember

The Bhan-Ember are a Dwarven resistance movement fighting against the tyrannical rule of Traitor King Dumac and the Cloudbeard Pirates on the Titan Jupiter. Their name translates roughly to “Ember of the Deep” in Dwarven — a reference to the smoldering defiance that refuses to be extinguished even under Dumac’s boot.

Ideology

The Bhan-Ember are led by a Socialist philosophy, seeking to return power to the people of Jupiter rather than to a monarchy or pirate warlord. Their stated goal after overthrowing Dumac is a Constitutional Socialization of Jupiter’s governance, an idea championed by Editor Rupert of the Scribes.

Members & Leadership

• Alfoz – Foreman of the Bhan-Ember and overseer of the construction of a massive banner of Tekk in the Bhan-Ember Amphitheatre.
• Ribny – A Bhan-Ember Dwarf who was cursed with the Forvivlad affliction, later cured by Silas Clemens.

Base of Operations

The Bhan-Ember share the Inverted Temple deep in the Undershell with the Scribes, accessible through the Deep Roads. The base includes a barracks, a medical tent, an alchemical library, and a war room tower.

Current Status

The Bhan-Ember have suffered heavy casualties fighting Fire Giants loyal to Dumac and are receiving fewer recruits by the day. The arrival of the Soul Shepherds has reinvigorated the resistance — particularly after Silas Clemens proved that the Forvivlad curse can be cured, opening a new avenue for rescuing enslaved Dwarves from the forge-factories.

• Thorfin — Kekoa warrior in the Hall of Statues. Offered the Soul Shepherds a spot on his Pōpō Pele team; the refused but he said the offer will remain open, they can seek him out on Hipolum-Dhrum at Grand Aletop.
