The Year of the Comet is said to bring about great change in the world and empower Solar Scions to insane levels at its’ conjunction; specifically, the moment of closest approach is often referred to as the Appulse of Eden.
The Ecclesia Solari believes that the Comet of Eden is a sign of the alignment of cosmic forces with the prophesied Crusade. The enhanced powers bestowed upon the Solar Scions during this celestial event are viewed as a crucial element in fulfilling the prophecy of finding the Holy Land, driving out the Fomorians, and ultimately restoring the world to its former divine glory.
In other cultures, such as the Children of Jas of Janus, the Comet of Eden may also be referred to as ‘Magi’s Comet’. Referencing the Celestial Observatory on Janus’ back that was used by followers of Magi (the Maskin) long ago to study the Comet.
