Tale of Two Lovers. Lunareth and her sister Noctu were once Mortals dwelling in a village outside Paradise. As Mortals, they were forever barred from the celestial Paradise that the Trinity presided over.
One day, Lunareth killed her sister Noctu in a fit of jealousy; Natu became distraught and unleashed a Solar Fury on their village, disintegrating the chaotic sister. Unable to bring back lover Noctu back to life (as she had no Soul as destined by Natu).
Magi, tainted by his Split Soul, furiously stipulated that mortals who ascended could not succumb to the bonds of love, for it would bridge the divide of Mortals & Gods, which disturbs Natu’s Cosmic Balance. Thus, Noctu and Natu, driven by an eternal love, could only meet during a rare lunar eclipse, a fleeting moment where the gods’ and mortals’ realms briefly intersected. This tragedy mirrored the dance of celestial bodies – forever entwined but destined to be apart.
She is the older sister of Lunareth; the two Lunar Goddesses.
