The Battle of Spider Isle
Chapter I Event — Early Campaign
The Battle of Spider Isle was the first major conflict involving the newly formed Solar Scions group, later called the Soul Shepherds. It took place on Spider Island south of the Temple of Luminaria, where a Fomorians Succubus known as the Servant of Nirvana had been orchestrating a war between the Spider Queendom and Astraloftum.
Key Events
- Animus Tenebris discovered and defeated the Spider Queen before the Solar Scions arrived.
- Two Spider Princesses were being mind-controlled by the Fomorian Succubus via a mysterious “Twilight Brand.”
- The Succubus revealed to Silas that he was “a failure of the Fomorians” and would never amount to being “the Unborn Fomor King.”
- Diallos shattered the Succubus’s phylactery, releasing tens of trapped Souls — all inadvertently absorbed by Silas, who fell unconscious.
- The Spider Princesses were liberated from mind control through the combined efforts of Silas (channeling the Spider Queen’s Soul) and Whimsical’s motherly love.
Aftermath
- Silas absorbed the Spider Queen’s Soul.
- The Spider Princesses were crowned as new Queens in a coronation ceremony attended by the Solar Scions.
- Syrax the Ruby Dragon revealed to Diallos his destiny with the Gem Dragons of Paradise, dubbing him “Argahax” (Draconic for “Prince of the Comet”).
- Syrax revealed the “Ruby Incident”.
