Also known as the ‘Baldwins’, they are a noble Emerald Kobold clan that follow the teachings of Natu. Champions of a very specific type of sword fighting. To the Baldwin family, sword fighting was an art form and a way to express oneself on the battlefield. Through this form of expression, allies were ever more motivated to fight onwards on the battlefield, and it would even at times confuse the enemies.
Every year, the specially selected few who go on to be inducted into the Emerald Scourge must undergo a ritual. This ritual consists of the new inductees going to the mouth of Clorox’s corpse, removing a dragon’s tooth as a unit, carving their own blade from the tooth, swearing to uphold the Draconic Songs of Natu, and slicing their tails off.
Inductees then return and receive a brand on their scales of the mark of Natu.
