The Skywandering
Among the Shellkin, failure is not tolerated lightly. A Kekoa or Dwarf who cannot contribute to their people’s endless pursuit of perfection is first given time to recover. If they cannot, they are cast out. This process, known as the Skywandering, is both a punishment and an act of mercy. Many of these exiles become wandering mercenaries, artisans, or hermits.
